The 2023 AICAT student photo contest

Guidelines

 All submissions must follow the guidelines for the AICAT Student photo contest 2023 :

The contest is open ONLY to present-day students presently studying at AICAT !

Photos must be good representations on the name of the contest ” A day in the life of an AICAT student”

Each student can upload up to a maximum of five (5) photos.

Anyone can vote up multiple times during the contest but please note votes are limited to two votes per day.

Entries will be judged by both the number of votes received through the gallery on aicat.co.il plus a panel of AICAT judges. All decisions are final. The Company reserves the right to disqualify any entry that is deemed inappropriate ( or does not conform to stated contest rules.

There will be at least one winner from each student group – unless there are no entries from a group.

Group-winning photos will be printed and exhibited at the Arava Open Day – on the 1st and 2nd of February 2023. During this two-day show, the first stage winners’ photos will be judged by a panel of judges who will vote for the overall winner.

There will be an additional prize for the “visitors’ favorite” – which will be chosen by visitors to the AICAT pavilion in the Open Day exhibition.

The group winners and the overall winners will be announced on the social media accounts of AICAT after the 21st of January 2023.

Important rules:

  • All photos must be original work, taken by the entrants. No third party may own or control any materials the photo contains, and the photo must not infringe upon the trademark, copyright, moral rights, intellectual rights, or rights of privacy of any entity or person.
  • The photographs must be of the highest resolution possible – low-quality photos will not be approved.
  • The photo must be in its original state and cannot be digitally altered beyond standard optimization (removal of dust, cropping, reasonable adjustments to exposure, color and contrast, etc.) and will be disqualified
  • AICAT reserves the right to exclude works from the contest that are not within the theme parameters or do not meet requirements. All photos are subject to approval. No nudity, political statements, or images that are too graphic or explicit will be accepted.
  • Violators will be removed from the contest, stripped of any prize(s), and banned from entering future contests.
  • Entries will not be accepted unless submitted via the official contest channel. Entries not submitted through the proper channel will be deleted.
  • By entering the contest, entrants agree that photos submitted can be used by AICAT – for promoting, advertising, and marketing materials.
  • Submissions will not be accepted once the deadline lapses.
  • The prize must be collected by the winner and is non-transferable.
  • The winner will be contacted via the email address provided during entry or via their group leader. If no response is received after 10 business days, a new winner will be selected and the previous winner will forfeit all rights to the prize.
  • The contest is void where prohibited or restricted by law.
  • If for some unforeseeable circumstances, the Arava Open Day is canceled, the winner’s photos will be exhibited on the AICAT campus and be judged by a panel of independent judges.
